Green Directory

The Green Directory is an initiative to create the largest and most complete repository of information about business entities, researchers, investors, inventors, products, technologies and services related to environmental protection efforts.

The Green Directory is scheduled to lauch in the second semester of 2011. It will be hosted on Web Kit Plus servers. It is in development by the combined work efforts of SIP Global - The Green Foundationteam and ProVis Design software engineer team.

One of the most important aspects of this new directory, and the key to its uniqueness, is the fact that only green certified businesses, services and products will be allowed to list (with the exception of inventors and investors, who will be listed freely). Working with PROGENF standards (and others), the Green Directory will be the ultimate tool for consumers and businesses to identify, compare, rate and purchase environmentally friendly products and technologies safely and at affordable prices.

The Green Directory will also have a complete WIKI Database to enhance information accessibility for related themes. There will also be forums and other on-line tools to help users and businesses interact.
